Marks stage presence and pure joy of playing are obvious in his live performance. In 2016 Mark was inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work with the regional band Lynn Allen. Mark has had the pleasure to open up for Reo Speedwagon, Styx, Cheap Trick, Eddie Money, Heart and many other national acts. His charisma and energy are a driving force in Rolling Thunder – The Music of AC/DC.
Korey was first seen and introduced to the band by our good friend Karie Skogman. He has jammed with Rolling Thunder on numerous occasions and was the natural choice to take the reins as frontman for the band when founding member Mike Swanson was looking to pass the vocal torch. Korey loves anything that rocks, in particular AC/DC, and looks forward to bringing his passion to rock the crowd to an event near you!
At the age of 10, Tony started his guitar and musical adventure with the iconic Rock Island, Illinois guitar instructor Arlene Bolis. Her ability to find the best in a student created a passion in him to find “what could be next?” In 1983 what was next for Tony was being accepted into Musicians Institute Of Technology and graduating in the class of 1984. With his new abundance of knowledge, Tony came back to the Quad Cities to share his new found gifts. He performed in many bands, one of which was Avatar based out of the Quad Cities who created an original album called Running The Red Light. That alone was a great achievement, but, that wasn’t enough for Tony. He started teaching in the same manner as his own instructors had so that he could find that special something in a student. In 1989 he decided to enter the first “The Best Guitarist in The Quad Cities” which he won, and then again in 1992 for his second win. Tony also has two original instrumental albums: Five Mile Road and Mood Control.
As a founding member of the comedy-rock enigma Sugar Nipples plus Halo, Slave Jockeys and ProjectX, Jon has written and performed songs spanning the hard rock & metal universe. In RollingThunder, he returns to his roots recreating and honoring the iconic guitar work of his first guitar hero, Malcolm Young. For those About to Rock, hold onto yer hats, cause This Guns for Hire!
Jerry, along with drummer Mark DeKalb, lays the foundation for Rolling Thunder with steady, driving bass. Over his career he has been a part of many popular cover acts such as Simon Says Uncle, Mouse Knuckles, Stabbin' the Cat, and the outrageous retro Cheese Pizza Tavern Tour band who celebrates their twenty year anniversary in 2017. During his time with Drophammer, whose melodic hard driving music has been featured on regional radio stations, Jerry was lucky enough to open for numerous national acts such as Ratt, Lita Ford, Dokken, Firehouse, Sebastian Bach, and Bret Michaels of Poison. A performer at heart, Jerry loves to take the stage and bring the 'Rock and Roll Train' to the audience.
